You need to know , that with this initiative you oppose yourself to hundreds ex-Ambassadors who was throw back by this initiative.

This is not Polkadot Ambassador Program it's the Whale Ambassador Program

I vote NAY for all candidates who applied , here are the reasons and explanations:

I came to know William during the PBA in HK, and we had multiple exchanges since. William strikes me as extremely competent and knowledgeable about Polkadot. He is one of few people who has both deep technical knowledge, as well as great communications and presentation skills, as illustrated by him winning the HK PBA startup pitch competition. During his term as DV he has always provided feedback to his decisions and in his voting behaviour proven his integrity. The new project around ROI-based story telling looks also promising, and while it's still too early to tell, it could be an extremely powerful approach to BD.
I think of the ambassadorship primarily as a representative role vis-a-vie third parties, or as being the "face of Polkadot". I can think of few people who are better suited for this than William.

William and I met at many conferences where I have witnessed his passion to convey the Polkadot message to a broad audience. The combination of his technical expertise, knowledge of Polkadot, network and presentation skills certainly make him a great candidate for the position of a Head Ambassador.

P.S. my main vote comes via Bifrost VDOT and is much larger than what is shown here

I have met William several times offline, online and working together in the G6 Advisory Board. I find him a good candidate for his extremly good communication skills and understanding of the technology. He can be trusted with tasks to deliver.

I hope the current voting turns: Good luck!

Update! Here is what I plan to do as Head Ambassador:

The primary focus of my term as HA will be to onboard new partnerships and enterprises onto Polkadot. I will do it in the following way:

  1. We have had a lot of success stories for enterprise adoption of Polkadot, but they are too hard to find! We need to use ROI-bases storytelling and case studies to trumpet EXISTING successes. I will create/collect them for use by all BD and ambassadors. Success stories are the way to onboard enterprises as social proof is the most powerful way to get initial recognition for Polkadot within enterprise.

  2. Enterprise adoption is a journey, with a long sales cycle. I plan to develop champions within enterprises bottom-up by engaging web3-forward employees by helping them leverage Polkadot resources (bounties and OpenGov can and should support development of evangelists/champions).

  3. Go after partnerships and new adoption top down, and help through the process of choosing the technology (e.g. coretime vs parachain vs appchain vs smart contracts vs. dapps), and if needed, getting POCs funded via the various treasuries or bounties. I will drive interested parties to different BD teams, systems integrators or dapp developers to help onboard. I will start by targeting the various non-Polkadot networks and communities that I am a part of (e.g. business school, startup communities/VCs).
