THE PROPOSAL
The Berlin Taxi campaign went live mid April and will be up for renewal mid July. The taxis have been successful in kicking off the first of our IRL Campaigns and now we can decide if we want to continue this method of branding in the city of Berlin.

For this refill, we have negotiated a 5% discount, as all the driver contacts have been organized from the original activation.

We will also be implementing a visual refresh to further align ourselves with Polkadot visuals that have been updated and shared over the last couple months.

 

THE CAMPAIGN
3 Months in duration
70 taxis branded with the Polkadot name, logo and QR code which will lead directly to polkadot.network
70 taxi headrest plaques located inside the vehicle with the same attributes as above.

Tentative start date of July 24th, 2024.

Upon completion of the campaign, we will have the option to renew for another 3 months without the cost of re-organizing the vehicles.

THE ASK
We are requesting a total of 8265 DOT ($49,500 USD) at a price of $6.00 to cover the following:
AD Campaign - 7133 DOT
Graphic Design - 167 DOT
Agency Fee 584 - DOT
Maintenance Fee - 219 DOT
Incidentals / Misc - 162 DOT

With refills we are able to bring our agency cost down as the bulk of the work has been completed in the beginning stages of securing the activation.

We have also contacted the agency to work with them directly, resulting in further cost savings.

Any DOT sold above the price of $6.00 at the time of claim will be returned
Any price deviation below the price of $6.00 at the time of claim will be requested retroactively.

 

CONCLUSION & NEXT STEPS

Upon approval of this proposal, funds will be immediately converted to USD / EUR in order to pay vendors for their services.

For any reason the project does not move forward, distributed funds will be returned to the treasury where applicable.

No efficiency data has been provided. This initiative makes no sense in the long term.
OK, we already have photos of Polkadot Taxi at Twitter for $100k, I think that's enough.

Your refusal to discuss adopting UTM is weird to say the least. UTM does not dox anyone. It is used simply to track marketing campaigns such as this. UTM trackers are on almost every link on the web and is the only way we can get any sort of information feedback as to the success of this program. You posting tiny pictures of what may be those taxi's from a web cam is not sufficient to say the least.

I'm going to campaign to stop these proposals until you adopt UTM at this point.
