Dot Latam Day 2023 (Retroactive)

DOT LATAM DAY is a spin-off of Polkadot LATAM DAY, the ecosystem's main in-person event in Latin America. This year Polkadot LATAM DAY had to be postponed to 2024 and this would mean a break with the tradition of always holding a major broadcast on December 15th with the presence of everyone who is making a difference in the development of the ecosystem in Latin America.

Due to this setback, we held this first edition of DOT LATAM DAY as a pre-launch event for Polkadot LATAM DAY itself. Formatted as a return to origins. That is, 100% online and LIVE via streaming.

It is important to highlight that the entire production of the event took place in less than a month, more precisely between November 26th and December 15th, which required the core team to undertake a radical race against time so that everything took place as planned and without last minute surprises.

All this effort was worth it because we had an event with impeccable timing and even with schedule adjustments until the last moment, we were able to resolve all the unforeseen situations that occurred without compromising the broadcasts, which took place LIVE.

Event Format.

In this edition we use two virtual stages, coordinated simultaneously. In total we had 66 guests who presented themselves in Lectures and Panel formats given in Spanish and/or Portuguese (depending on the guests scheduled).

Each virtual stage carried out two complete broadcasts, through the YouTube channel Polkadot en Español @polkadotenespanol, which currently has 979 subscribers.
