Referendum #262

Tip for Adam Steeber's participation in Dot Take

Executed

This is a proposal to tip Adam Steeber $400 per episode of Dot Take retroactively for the 12 episodes that were produced. It is our hope that with the support this tip receives it would push Adam to pursue his own ventures and ideas.

The amount of $400 per episode was selected as it was the asking amount per episode in KryptosChain's proposal that would have passed if it weren't for KryptosChain's repeated self-harm. We're proposing to give the full cost per episode directly to Adam.

You can see all 12 episodes of Dot Take here:

Many of us are basically agreeing to tip you for 3 reasons.

1.) You're flat broke, crypto market ate you up and spat you out, simple as. As you are a technical developer + have a family, we can't really blame this on you. You never sold yourself as a markets operator.

2.) You're not perfect, but you doing your best and we appreciate your honestly. Even if we are "European Ninnys"

3.) Mostly importantly, we all hate KC. This vote should only affirm that further.

Best of luck with your future endeavours, wishing you all the success possible.

AYE from me, GL to all.

Adam is unique personality! He is a good person and a capable expert here in Polkadot.

He showed more than often enough that his knowledge is beneficial for this ecosystem.

I Aye this because those Agents who are showing their skills and are a beneficial for this community should get funded through OpenGov!

I am voting Aye, but you have to put up with my comment:
My suggestion is to refrain from bringing your family into the reasons that the treasury should fund a proposal, which should be akin to a business proposal. I couldn't imagine mentioning that my family needs money if I were in a job interview, demanding a raise, or in a sales pitch. We all have families Adam, or at least we would all like more funds, it doesn't need to be said, and if it is said, it can come across as manipulative and desperate. It takes away from what you can truly offer to the Polkadot eco-system, which I think a lot of people can tell, is a lot.
