Referring to the approved proposal https://polkadot.polkassembly.io/treasury/117, AngelHack has requested for an allocation of $297,000 USD to fund the total prize pool of the Polkadot Hackathon: North America Edition.
The DOT amount calculated via EMA30 on 17 May 2022 at GMT+0 0721hrs was 1 DOT ~ 14.34, where the requested $297,000 USD had a disbursement of 20,711.2971 DOT.
With the allocated DOT disbursed at the end of the spend period, we have swapped the DOT for USD in order to proceed with prize disbursement. The price was at 1 DOT ~ 6.33 where 20,711.2971 DOT ~ $131,102.51 USD.
Prizes have already been disbursed to all the winning teams with AngelHack covering the current difference. The purpose of the proposal is to seek a bridge of the remaining amount that AngelHack had administered to the winning teams of the Polkadot Hackathon: North America Edition.
